A Rogue Performance Downpipe is an integral component of a vehicle’s exhaust system, particularly in turbocharged engines. It connects the turbocharger’s exhaust outlet to the rest of the exhaust system, often replacing restrictive factory components to improve exhaust flow. All Rogue Performance SA’s Downpipes are fabricated in 304 Stainless Steel.

What Does a Downpipe Do?

1. Exhaust Flow: The downpipe directs exhaust gases from the turbocharger into the exhaust system.
2. Catalytic Converter: Many factory downpipes include a catalytic converter. Rogue Performance Downpipes will omit this for improved flow.
3. Turbo Efficiency: Reducing backpressure allows the turbocharger to spool more efficiently, improving performance and decreasing turbo lag.

Type of Downpipes:

1. Catless Downpipe: Omits the catalytic converter for maximum exhaust flow.
   • Pros: Optimal performance gains and louder exhaust sound.
   • Cons: May trigger a check engine light (CEL), this is more applicable to models from 2018 and onwards, however we do have simple solutions for this.
